This story is a LitRPG urban fantasy with near-future tech about a veteran dwarf investigator and his friend an island elf. They are tasked by a gang boss with finding a gnome that has been cursed with a magical sombrero of infinite tequila. However, along their investigative adventure, the two friends find out this cursed gnome is of great value to more people than the boss. As the duo search for the gnome they encounter competing forces, and the dwarven investigator realizes he must face some of the demons that have been haunting his life.
